Awards Categories:

Group A: Music Programming Awards

A1 Music Programming - Daily Sequences

This category recognises the contribution daily programming sequences make to music programmes. To qualify for entry, sequencing in this instance must take place three or more times a week. The overall effect of the sequencing - for example, creation and production of music sequences mixed with feature items - will be examined.

This should not be confused with the Entertainment Inserts category (A3) which is focused on single elements that contribute to a programming sequence.

A2 Music Programming - Weekly Broadcast

This category is for programmes that form a regular part of the schedule but that are broadcast, in general, only once a week. The overall effect of the sequencing - for example, creation and production of music sequences mixed with feature items - will be examined. For example, a weekly chart show or specialist music programme could be entered in this category.

Entries can include humourous phone calls, comedy inserts, song parodies or pastiches.
